Upon entering the holiday home, we were immediately struck by it's delightful presentation and the welcoming aroma that filled the space. The house is evidently well maintained, radiated a sense of warmth and care that made us feel instantly at home. Every corner of the house was impeccably clean with tasteful decoration that blended modern comfort with a cozy traditional charm. The scent in the air a blend of fragrant flowers and hint of something sweetly spiced, added to the overall allure, making the space not just visually appealing but also seasonally enchanting!

We are just sorry that we were here for only one night! What a lovely surprise it was when we arrived at Gerycastell to find a warm, luxurious & immaculate place!

This has been the perfect place to stay, situated as it is in an area where I myself have been able to catch up with local friends, as well as the three of us revisiting old favourite haunts, such as Aberglasney Gardens and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. We have been really impressed with the apartment itself, it's design, modern convenience and relaxed atmosphere. We have particularly loved the amazing panoramic views across the Towy valley and what an atmosphere site Dryslwyn Castle is!

The best stay we have ever found in Airbnb. We came to the temple Skandavale. We couldn't stay long at the apartment but it was the best, cleanest and most spacious & kid friendly stay ever. The place is outstanding!

We were blown away when we arrived with how fantastic Gerycastell is, the pictures online don't do it justice. It is the best apartment we have ever stayed in, really comfortable, modern, stylish and really well equipped. The views from the balcony are fabulous and we enjoyed star gazing in the evenings. We had stunning weather whilst we were here and enjoyed exploring the local areas, we would highly recommend the fish and chips at the White Hart Inn in Llandeilo.

I found you by chance when coming to visit a family member of mine that's poorly. Your place is outstanding! The view of the castle from the balcony is amazing. The attention to detail is amazing. I hope to come back again in the future! This place really made me feel at home, you are also really friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Gerycastell is actually a hidden gem, we loved it here. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway. We explored the surrounding nature so much. Gerycastell has everything that we need for our daily routine. We will surely spread the word to our family & friends. We usually visit wales templae 'Skandavale' and now we know where to stay!

Fabulous apartment with stunning views of the valley both directions. We have visited friends in the area many times over the years, their view very different so very interesting. Enjoyed seeing the chickens and cows opposite and finally made the walk up to the castle, despite very rainy weather this weekend.

We stayed for just one night hence do not have much to share. But the high taste and immaculate presentation of this property does catch attention from the moment you step into it. This was a truly amazing experience. The view is stunning and this Airbnb is no less. The detail and care that went into making this place is projected through every step taken inside. We four sisters have been travelling in the UK on a pilgrimage for my mother who passed three months ago. Mom missed the UK all the years she spent in the USA. So we decided to return her to the land she loved so much.
We have spent the last week in Bowden, Cheshire visiting her childhood home, then paddle boarding in Snowdonia and ziplining in Anglesey. And now we are here, visiting our cousin Sarah and spreading mom's ashes on Sarah's beautiful lands.
It has been such a pleasure staying in your rental on our journey. Everything was clean, comfortable and well organised. And we appreciated all of your tips on things to do around here.
Now we are heading on to Devon to visit our 93 year old aunt and finally on to the Cotswolds.
We will definitely be recommending this place to others!

Getting ready to leave, this is our second stay this year! Yet again it's been fab and didn't disappoint, everything was as wonderful as last time. We've made wonderful friends with Shana, Phil & lovely little Charlie. Nothing is too much trouble for them. There's so many amazing places to visit, lovely places to eat. We have really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment! So clean and comfortable, the best holiday home we have ever stayed in! Spacious even with five of us! We've had lovely days on North Beach at Tenby and Pendine Sands, which has everything you need for a day on the beach. There is lots more we would have done if we were here for longer.

The apartment is set in a beautiful location with views of Dryslwyn Castle and surrounding countryside. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you would need for a short or longer stay. We would definitely return and would highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Been on business working here and have stayed at this apartment for 4 weeks. I have found this very relaxing and at a very high standard i.e The best one yet in 10 years of travel with work. The views and wildlife to see and hear are amazing in the evening, shame I wasn't staying in the summer months to sit out on the balcony to it's full extent. Shana and family do not bother you at all but are there to assist you if needed and are very friendly on the phone, I think nothing at all would be a problem. As a family they are very lucky to have such a wonderful home in such a lovely area and I work for an environment habitat company so I can really appreciate it. I will return on my journeys if possible and wish them all the best.

After being cooped up for months it was delightful to get away to beautiful Wales. Just arrived home after a wonderful three nights stay at Gerycastell. The apartment is extremely comfortable and well-equipped, sparkling clean, and fitted out to an extremely high standard. It was great to be able to charge my PHEV (thank you). There are lovely places to visit close by, but also just to sit on the balcony and enjoy the fantastic view. Wow, what a find!

My wife and I booked the apartment for 4 adults and a child a week prior, with some reserved expectations (will it look like the images? will it be clean? how will our child find it?). Honestly, the entire stay was amazing. Phillip, Shana and Charlie (thank you for sharing your toys, play area and trampoline!) were the perfect hosts, always available, accommodating and willing to chat. The location is fantastic - with a castle in walking distance and the National Botanic Garden of Wales a short drive around the corner. The apartment is truly luxurious and contains everything you need - from a tin opener to Netflix! There’s plenty of space in there and the balcony view is perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back here!

Wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Sadly it was just 1 night. The views are amazing and you have thought of everything. We only get 1 night a year away from our full time caring duties and we would certainly re-book here. We are leaving relaxed, refreshed and ready to go back to life! Thank you so much!

Absolutely beautiful place, the views around the apartment are fantastic, what a delight to wake up to this everyday. It's a pity that we are rushing to get our ferry but looking forward to staying here another time and to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

This is a beautiful place - so relaxing even in the company of storm Dennis! We have really enjoyed the views and wildlife, like our very own nature reserve. We would very much like to return.

We are very local to here but decided that a change of scenery and some R&R was needed this weekend. We literally moved in around 1.30 pm and chilled until we left. A beautiful place, perfectly decorated and what a view! We loved it and will be recommending to family who need somewhere to stay when visiting us (or we may leave them at our house and we will come here!).

The apartment is beautiful with lovely attention to detail and is so well equipped for both adults and children. Our children enjoyed playing with the toys and books, you thought of everything. The views around the apartment are breath taking we loved our walk to Dryslwyn Castle, we will definitely be returning. Thank you for everything!

This home is truly amazing! It is so well equipped, clean and spacious. The apartment is located in beautiful surroundings with outstanding views across the valley. Shoshana and Phil were extremely welcoming and really made our stay relaxing and extremely enjoyable. Amazing accommodation and we can't wait to visit again! This apartment is gorgeous, very bright, clean and spacious and much more than we ever expected. The views are amazing, everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided and the little touches made by the hosts did not go un-noticed, it really is the perfect place to stay. The hospitality of Shoshana and her family was second to none and really couldn't fault our stay here, we all loved it and are already looking forward to our next visit. I can assure you that if you book to stay at Gerycastell you will definitely not be disappointed.

We stayed 2 nights, a last minute booking, the owners made us feel very welcome. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, fabulous views over the Towy River & valley, a 5 minute walk to Dryslwyn Castle. There was freshly baked bread, butter, jam, fresh coffee, fresh orange juice & milk waiting for us when we arrived. Could not fault the place or hosts, definitely going to book to return later in the New Year.
